Missouri Wolverines
Cheerleading Rules

The cheerleaders will follow the same schedule as the football team. All age groups will follow what is posted on the website. Any emergency cancellations due to the weather, off days, ect. are always on the website in the "News" section on www.missouriwolverines.com by 5:00pm. The parents will need to check the website for scheduling changes and are encouraged to sign-up for the Missouri Wolverines Newsletter so that they might receive emails of scheduling changes including the latest information about the Wolverines year round. Due to limited time the website and email will be our main avenue for contacting parents during the season when a sudden change in schedule occurs.

I. Practice Rules

  • To practice you must be wearing practice clothes. This means shorts, sweats, t-shirt and tennis shoes (no jeans, sandals, or anything you are unable to move in).
  • Everyone should be at all practices and on time. If you can't make it, you must tell the coach via a phone call, email or personally.
  • Missed practices can result in missing a game due to lack of preparation for the cheers that week.
  • NO CHEWING GUM OR JEWELRY
  • You should come ready to practice at the designated time, practice starts at 6pm sharp if you are not ready then you are late.

  • II. Game Rules
Always remember when you are wearing a Wolverines uniform, you are representing the organization so it is crucial you conduct yourself professionally at games where several people are watching. Please stay away from gathering at the concession stand or in public view. We want everyone to have fun but always remember to act responsible.

  • Everyone is expected to cheer at all games for the their level for the Wolverines. If you are going to miss a game, please let the coach know prior to the game.
  • Everyone must be in uniform to cheer at a game. If you are not in uniform, you don't cheer. This means top, skirt, shoes, cheer socks, and hair bows. If its a cold day, bring your pants and jacket because we might wear them. BE PREPARED!
  • NO CHEWING GUM OR JEWELRY
  • BE ON TIME

  • III. Parents
  • Please have your cheerleaders to the games on time.
  • Parents please pick your cheerleaders up at the proper time after practices and games

  • And remember:
    Cheerleaders are Angels...
We're the only humans who can fly!
