Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 8pm
K-2nd grade teams will practice
Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 7:30pm
Your time may change based on what team your child is placed on. If it is raining at the time of practice at the field we will not attend. If you are questioning weather please call your team mom or your coach or check the website.

CHEER SQUADS

We may have 3-4 different squads. These depends on age of the girls and the number of girls that signup and attend practices. It is possible that your child will be moved up or down based on age, number of girls, and brother they are cheering for. We will make all efforts to have the girls cheer for their brothers; however this is not possible if there is a large age gap.

UNIFORMS

With the ever-changing weather. Please bring your whole uniform to the game. That's what your bag is for. Wear your shell, skirt and spankies unless otherwise noted. For those with early games your crop may be worn if cold. Please note everyone must match, so if one is wearing their undershirt, we either all do or all don't. Once the weather really changes, we will start wearing the warm-up suits. If your child doesn't have their entire uniform and we decided to put on a part of the uniform they don't have, they will sit out and will not be able to cheer.

SHOES

Appropriate footwear must be worn on the field during practices and games. This includes rubber-soled, low-heeled tennis shoes, which offer support and can absorb the forces caused by jumping, cheering and stunting. Proper shoes are required at all times. Open-toed shoes, platform tennis shoes, canvas deck shoes, flip flops, crocs, etc. are not considered to be proper tennis shoes. If a cheerleader is not wearing appropriate shoes, they WILL NOT be allowed to cheer or practice!

HAIR

To ensure safety while performing, hair must be neat and out of the face for games. Long hair (shoulder length or longer) must be tied up in a ponytail(s) or braids. Loose ends should be fastened back with bobby pins or barrettes. Hard fasteners such as plastic or wooden comb-like hair accessories should not be worn; since they can cause injury while performing stunts, A team issued ribbon/bow will be given out.

NAILS

Fingernails should he kept at a length appropriate for safe participation. Appropriate length means that nails are not visible beyond the fingers when viewed from the palm side of the hands.

Jewelry

For safety reasons, jewelry of any kind is not permitted at practice or games. The only exception is a medical alert bracelet or necklace, which must be secured to the body with tape.

DURING THE GAME:

The cheerleaders are expected to be on the field cheering at all times. If they are not feeling well, they may either sit by the coaches or the parents. We will take a team break in between 1st and 2nd quarter and 3rd and 4th quarter. This means they will remain on the field as a team. At half time they may take a break and visit with you. If purchasing food from a concession stand, please purchase this before half time so your child has time to eat. Please make sure they are back on time for the start of 3rd quarter. At times we will perform at half time, so it is essential to check with the coach before dismissing at halftime. If it is raining at the time of the game at the field we will not attend. If you are questioning weather please the team mom or your coach and also please check the website. When in doubt, please show up.

FOOD/DRINK

Parents please only allow clear liquids while in uniform. You will be charged for damaged or stained uniforms. Half time is a great time to get a snack, but please have them eaten before the 3rd quarter starts. We suggest parents get in line for their child prior to halftime. The lines can get long, resulting in your child not having time to eat their food. No food should be taken on the field. Clear drinks will be allowed on the field for breaks. Water is the best.

PERSONAL CONDUCT

Cheerleaders are not permitted to chew gum, smoke or use smokeless tobacco; drink alcoholic beverages; use foul language; or in any way demonstrate disrespect for fellow team members or coaching staff. Cheerleader conduct at games and team events is especially important. Team pride, positive attitude, and gracious behavior towards competitor teams are EXPECTED AT ALL TIMES.

ATTENDANCE

Coaches will be keeping attendance starting August 10th. There is a one strike policy, which means you have only one un-excused practice, after this you will lose 1 quarter of a game for each un-excused practice. You will still be expected to be at the game on time and will sit by the coach. If you miss a game that you are supposed to sit out at you will sit out at the next game. Parents/Guardians if your child is sick or missing practice please call us. If you call us, it is considered excused. Cheerleaders cannot call themselves in for missing practice, a parent or guardian must do it. Please let us know if YOU child will not be at a game or practices!
